Standing on the bones of Giants is a new project featuring Waldo Fabian (Benito Gonzales, Randy Brecker, Tony Buck, The Catholics), Ed Rodrigues (Polymorphic Orkestra, Waveteller, Matt Ross, States of Chaos), Ed Goyer (Polymorphic Orkestra, Rai Thistlethwayte, Coda, Caribé), Trevor Brown (Markus Stockhausen, SickOrchestra, Gypsy Dub Sound System, Waiting for Guinness) and Lee McIver (Polymorphic Orkestra, JUJUhorn, Caribé, SickOrchestra).

 

Our first Album (self-titled) is an improvised homage to the giants of explorative, improvised music. It is not restrained by genre or a direct tribute to any one style. It is open, explorative, agile, and evolving. The music was completely improvised and recorded in a live studio setting. There were no overdubs, and the resulting music is presented as recorded in the moment of time.
