Lee has travelled the world performing, composing and producing. He worked as a freelance trumpet player for many years touring and recording with many of Australia’s leading pop, jazz and world music artists but has always had a strong focus on performing and producing art music of an improvised nature. He has worked as a composer for theatre, dance, multi-disciplined arts, TVC’s, film and pure music ensembles. His current projects include - The Polymorphic Orkestra, Sydney Improvising Composers Kollectiv Orchestra, Gai Bryant's Caribe, and Palacio del a Rumba, MD for Waldo Fabian and performing as a solo artist. He is currently finishing off two new albums each of a very different style.

Most recently Lee released 'Resonance'an album of solo works for trumpet and triggered FX, produced mixed and mastered the 5th Polymorphic Orkestra album 25:03:22, was commissioned to write a work for Synergy Percussion’s season Common Time and produced the debut album for Gai Bryant’s Caribé. In 2021 he released two new (twin) albums with Polymorphic Orkestra (Shadowland & This God is Empty) and recorded for a Cliff Hewitt (Apollo 440) and Waldo Fabian project. In 2019 he was Musical Director and performer for Aaron Cash's ‘Last Dance the Forgotten Masters’ at the 2019 Adelaide Cabaret Festival, finished composing his second work for String Quartet 'Citizen M', was a featured soloist in Meditation Marathon with Taikoz and for the Phoenix Central Park 2020 series Behind Doors.
